I ordered takeout from El Ranchero a few weeks ago while in Wickenburg. It was a great experience! Quick, affordable, and--most importantly--delicious! The order taker was pleasant and quick to answer the questions that I had about the menu. I ordered the chicken enchilada combo, as I wanted to sample their rice and beans along with the enchiladas. The green sauce was delicious and the enchiladas themselves were very tasty. Though I was only in the restaurant briefly as I had a takeout order, it was definitely a cute little establishment and one that I would visit to dine in! I will certainly be back during future trips to Wickenburg.

Friendly service, good food, good portions. Loved the chips and condiments. They should grill fire their carne asada and then things would be perfect. We enjoyed the experience.

So glad we stopped here on our way to Vegas. The food is so good. Homemade and very flavorful. Some recipes are listed on the menu as coming from the grandma's 100 year old recipe (tamal) I had the shredded beef and pork tamale and the husband had the ground beef burrito. We both had the red sauce. We both said to each other that we should stop here for dinner on our way home from Vegas because it was that good. The free chips and 3 dips (2 salsa and 1 bean dip) were delicious. Pros 1. Tasty homemade food. Seems like you're eating in a Mexican family's home 2. Prices for most things on the menu are reasonable 3. Service was nice and very welcoming Cons 1. We were seated in the back room which was a bit dark. Would prefer front room which is lighter and brighter. At night, it probably doesn't matter either way.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Salsa is so good fish taco is good as well.

As soon as you walk in, everyone greets you with a smile. The Chips and Salsa arrive fast! Cadillac Margarita is tasty! Ordered the Machaca and the Chile Relleno.
